Congratulate Tiffany Williams as the DFW ATW Member Spotlight for June 2018!
The new DFW ATW Monthly Member Spotlight was created to showcase the value our members are receiving from DFW ATW membership.
Tiffany Williams has been a DFW ATW member since 2017. She recently landed an outstanding opportunity with one of DFW’s newest employers, Charles Schwab, by building relationships, networking and selling her brand during her short transition period of only 7 weeks. Tiffany highly recommends incorporating networking into your job search plan to identify that next position, which was her key in landing her next role.
“Many DFW ATW members played a monumental role in my securing a new opportunity.” Tiffany stated. “The process didn’t begin the night the connection was made with the person who was the catalyst of my attaining a new endeavor. The process started with the person who invited me to my first DFW ATW event, as well as to the many women I met from month to month until I became a familiar face. Those monthly connections led to the turning point of that memorable night when I met Jane Strauss. It was a night that I will never forget! Jane listened intently to my job search needs. When the opportunity presented itself, she remembered me, and the rest is history!”
Tiffany currently holds the position of Senior Project/Program Manager at Charles Schwab, one of the top investment firms. They created the phrase “Own Your Tomorrow,” which Tiffany took to heart. Tiffany has over 13 years of project management, as well as 3 years of process improvement and management experience. She had the opportunity to gain knowledge in industries such as finance, telecom, supply chain and healthcare. Tiffany’s project portfolio traverses both infrastructure and software development projects, such as application modernization, data center migrations, technology life cycle management, application infrastructure provisioning, and software development life cycle initiatives. She values an atmosphere of progressive thinking, collaboration and the ability to be a disruptor … there is always an opportunity to improve.
