Challenges to Success for Women in Tech: Leveraging the Benefits of Advocates

The current landscape for women in technology has improved in many ways over the past several years, yet, obstacles remain. In celebration of Women’s History month, Linda will discuss the need for advocacy for women in technology and identify three actions women in technology can take now.
Linda Selph has extensive experience as an award-winning technology sales professional, aligning complex organizational priorities with business objectives to drive results. She has successfully managed Global 1000 accounts delivering enterprise-wide Business-to-Business software solutions for startups and established brands, including IBM and Computer Associates.
An advocate for women in technology, Linda has served on the DFW*ATW Board of Directors as Director of Partnerships for over six years and has established and developed the DFW*ATW Partnership Program. She has a passion for giving back and has held various leadership roles within Dallas Women’s Executive Network Group, National Association for Professional Saleswomen, Northern CA, Assistance League of Coppell, and is an active member of the church choir at First United Methodist Church, Coppell.
Linda graduated from University of Texas, Tyler with a B.S. in Sociology, is a graduate of Power of Self Leadership Program and has achieved Graduate Certification in Innovation and Entrepreneurship from the University of Texas at Dallas.
